Results of all Blazers Teams at 2013 Provincials
Tyke BB played three round robin games dropping all three contests. The team was very young with only two 8 year olds and show promise moving onto 2014
Tyke AA registered 1 tie and 3 losses. Again a very young team that had six 7 year olds in the line-up. The potential of this group of young players will be realized in 2 or 3 years.
Novice BB finish 4th overall registering 3 wins and 2 losses in a 16 team pool. With a roster of mainly 9 year olds, things are looking promising for the 2014 Provincials.
Novice AA captured Gold with a perfect 5 win, 0 loss record. Many more good things to come from this group of talented players.
Atom BB finished 6th in a pool of 17 teams. A big improvement from their 2011 finish as a Novice BB team. Recorded 2 wins and 1 tie against 2 losses.
Atom AA was our most improved squad capturing Silver while going undefeated though the 3 round robin and 1 semi-final game before dropping the Championship game to New Tecumseth 1 - 0.
Pee Wee AA finished 6th overall showing some flashes of brilliance but a need to improve on their defensive game.
Bantam AA finished 7th overall after battling through a tough round robin pool they dropped a 4 - 2 decision to Belleville in the A semi-finals. Scoring on more of their chances would have definitely help this club.
Junior AA captured Gold with a 4 win one loss record beating long time rivals New Tecumseth in the semi-finals and Belleville in the finals. Team discipline was the key in their Gold Medal performance.
Girls U12 won the Gold with 4 wins and a tie. This group of talents athletes look poised to dominate the sport for many years, if they continue to work hard at their craft.
Girl U14 once again a Penetang Girls teams eliminated in a 1 - 0 loss. Played well throught out the weekend and with some polish around the net could be a big time player in years to come.
Girls U16 won back to back Gold with an impressive 4 win, 1 loss record. Great goaltending from McDonald and Peddle and just enough offense to get the job done.
Girls U18 Silver Medal winners after dropping the final 1 - 0 to Oshawa. With most of the girls who are graduating to adult play this will be their last youth ball hockey game
