Text Summary
Just like when it seemed the Flyers were going to pull the upset and take game 1, the Falco Steelers continued pressure broke down the Flyers will. The Flyers were up 3-2 with only 2:35 to play and tried to kill the clock. But when you keep on dumping the ball, you continue giving your opponent too many chances. The Steelers would take advantage of this and scored 4 goals in the last 2:35 to put game 1 away, and the final score would be 6-3.
The Steelers led by the cagey veteran Jason Derose, who had 5 helpers, would score the final goal into the yawning cage and would have a tremendous performance factoring in on each of the Steelers scoring plays. The Steelers showed why they were the division champs, and if the Flyers don't play a complete 30 minute game in game 2, it will be another early exit for Nicoli and the boys in orange.
