Edge the Bruins 2-0 in Gold Medal Game
The Wolverines are the 2022 Penetang Midland Minor Ball Hockey League Girls U18 Champions getting past the Bruins by a 2-0 score in the Gold Medal Game of Tuesday June 21 at the Penetanguishene arena. Brooke Browne and Alexa Weatherell scored one goal each for the Wolverines while Shirley Ann Ladouceur and Raegan Burns split the shut out.
In the semi-final Mackenzie Czapla score the games lone goal in a shoot out leading the Bruins to a 1-0 wind over the Sharks. The game was scoreless after regulation time and five minutes of four on four overtime. Czapla was the only shoot out scorer.
The Girls U18 division would like to thank Burns and Ladouceur for sharing the goaltending for all three teams as well as all of the volunteer coaches for their dediciation this season.
