Novice Blazers Dominate Provincials

The Novice Blazers dominated the field bringing home the AA Gold Medal in convincing fashion.  The Blazers were a perfect 5 win, no loss record scoring 25 goals while allow only 2 against.

The team was made up of Lacey Larmand, Brooke Browne, Cole Warren, Kate Beausoleil, Mason Downs, Alex Sajan, Charlie Wright, Alex Czapla, Elliott deMunnik, Isaac Larmand, Rowan Mehta, Cameron Weishar, Landon Barron, Nathan Schaap, Curtis Warren and Drew Robson.

The coaching staff was headed by Mike Larmand with assistants:  Chris Larmand, Adam Schaap and Mike deMunnik.

In the Gold Medal game Lacey Larmand recorded the shut-out as the Blazer downed the North York Lynx 5 - 0.  The Blazers led 3 - 0 at half-time on 2 goals from Barron and a single form Isaac Larmand.  Mehta and Robson added second period goals to cap off the victory.

Barron 2 goals + 2 assists, Sajan 2 goals, deMunnik 1 goal, Czapla, Weishar and Schaap 1 assist each.

Penetang 5 Kingston 0

Curtis Warren and Barron both had 1 goal + 1 assist, Cole Warren, Weishar and Sajan each scored 1 goal, Browne, deMunnik and Robson each added 1 assist.  Shut-out:  Lacy Larmand

Semi-Finals:  Penetang 6 Cambridge 0

Sajan 2 goals + 1 assist, Isaac Larmand 2 goals, Barron and Schaap 1 goal + 1assist each, Beausoleil, Downs and Robson 1 assist each.  Shut-out:  Lacy Larmand
