Destroyers 2016 Bantam-Junior Champs

Patrick Lenehan scored three goals while Calan Trumpour and Aaron Mavrou connected for two goals each as the Destroyers got past the Spartans by a 8 - 3 score to capture the PMMBHL Bantam-Junior A Championship on Wednesday June 15 at the Penetanguishene arena.  Dalton Mount scored the final goal for the Destroyers while Andrew Foley with two goals and Riley Kennedy with a single replied for the Spartans.

The Chargers edged the Knights by a 5 -4 score to win the B Championship.  Braedan Dorion paced the Chargers attack with 3 goals, William Donaldson and Drake Maurice netted single tallies. For the Knights:  Brandon LeMesurier connect for two goals with single markers coming from Ryan McConnachie and Cole Quick.

In the C Final the Broncos' Andrew Snowden scored his second goal of the game with just over 2 minutes remaining to lift his club to a 5-4 victory over the Raiders.  Mark Cruden, Jacob Dabrowski and Ethan Schnier scored one goal each for the Broncos.  Chrisian Forget with two goals, Brandon Chisholm and Garrett Watson with one goal each responded for the Raiders.

On Tuesday June 14 the Raiders eliminated the Crusaders winning 8-3 in hte C Division semi-finals.  Raiders scoring was provided by Brandon Bressette (3), Curtis Anderson (2), Darcy Chapman, Jacob Bernard and Brandon Chisholm.
