General Information & Registration Fee's
GENERAL INFORMATION
• $2750 for 12 games plus playoffs ($2000 for playoff champion + hoodies and $1000 for regular season champions)
• NO EXTRA HIDDEN OR GATE FEE’S
ALL FEE’S ARE BASED ON 8 TEAM DIVISIONS:
• Seasons begin in May and run to August
• Game start times: 7pm-11pm
• Designated set nights for each division and games played at same arena (set by the city permitting)
• Regular Season & Playoff Champions advance to OBHA Provincial Championships held in August
• Full player and team statistics posted at the arena and online
• End of season team and individual awards
• League Individual Awards
• Limited dental & medical insurance
• Official balls supplied by the league
• League Handbook
• Safe play & fair competition
• Games start on the hour
• Two certified officials for every game
• OBHA sanctioned *
*OBHA in existence since 1974 in its 48th year of providing Excellence in the Sport of Ball Hockey
TEAMS:
• must register minimum of 12 players with a maximum of 22
• player signing deadline is June 30 to be eligible for Provincials
• all players must register in person as a signature is required
• players must play 6 games to qualify for playoffs and Provincials
• must have matching jerseys and same base colour shorts
HELP MANAGE YOUR LEAGUE
We want all of our Team Managers to be actively involved in managing our league! As a team rep, you will become a leader and partner with the league and have a say in all major decisions within your league.
EQUIPMENT:
• CSA approved hockey helmet and approved hockey gloves are mandatory, all goalies must wear full CSA approved equipment
• Athletic cup, elbow pads, soft knee pads and soccer style shin guards are recommended
