Text Summary
Did the Jags forget how to play "D" in the first round?? I dont think so, but in game 1 of the semis, missed coverages, odd man rushes, and cherry pickers left unattended, were the downfall for the Jags in game 1. Watching the poor defensive effort made this Maple Leaf fan appreciate the NHL lockout for the first time.
Jags poor defensive effort, in combination of a sub-par performance from goal keeper, Dave Marchione give Lions an easy 6-1 victory. Lions score 3 in the first, 3 in the second, and take game 1 in convincing fashion leaving the Jags wondering what just ran over them.
Jags will need a much better performance from all players if they want any chance to force game 3. I have a feeling Lavalle will have his guys fired up for game 2, but the question remains, will it be enough against the Lions.......
