Text Summary
Both teams came out to play, and looked like this game was going to finished tied like game 1. However, a bad line change late in the game, and a great Too many men call by the refs, had the Wolfpak shorthanded with only 4 min left in the game. The Alumni, backed by wiley veteran Mike Santonato, took advantage by scoring on their late PP opportunity, and the goal held up as the winner. The Alumni would go on to win the game, send the Wolfpak home for next season, and set up a semi-final matchup with the division winners, the Falco Steelers.
Mike Santonato has 2 helpers, Ken Bolton scores the winner, and both goalies put on a show in a game that went down to the last second. Alumni better bring their "A" game next round, because the Steelers are a rested bunch, and I know Steelers GM, Rocco Mongelli, will have his guys fired up for game 1.
