Text Summary

Boys from Barrie put up a good fight, but it just wasnt enough, as Giustini leads the Pylons to a 6-4 win.  Giustini scores 2, adds 2 helpers, and the Pylons advance to the finals with the Nordiques waiting patiently.  The game was filled with goals, penalties, hard fought battles, and truly had the makings of a championship game.  Both teams traded scores in the first, and it seemed like we were gonna head into OT if the second period was gonna be anything like the first.  But Giustini scores early in the second, and the Pylons never looked back, and win the game 6-4.  Flyers make it close late in the game, but Martello and Diogo both score into the empty net, and that spells the end to a great season for the Barrie Flyers.  Flyers have great performances by Cory Wick, Tyler Yerex, and Jesse McConney, but its not enough as Vadori and Pylons shut it down late in the game.
