Text Summary
This game started off with fire and intensity. Both teams would come out the gates with toughness and the intention on intimidating the opposition. The first period would have both teams exchanging goals and the lead. The Steelers would open the scoring, and the Jags would respond 2 of their own. It seemed the toughness of the Jags was going to have a huge part to play in the game but Rocco, captain of the Steelers would take a well timed Time out and calmed his team down. It was clear that Rocco wanted his guys to play a more skilled game, a game would be in their benefit. Well, I guess it worked because a mere 4 minutes after calling the timeout, the Steelers would score their 3rd goal of the period, which proved to be the game winner.
Then the Steelers dominated the second period. They would score another 3, and more importantly, kept the Jags from scoring any. The Steelers were lead by Dorvin Jordan who scored 2, helped on one, and would send the Steelers up 1-0 in a best of 3 series.
If the intensity keeps up the way it did in game 1, the Refs will have to make sure they are on top of all plays. The keys to success for each team:
STAY OUT OF THE BOX!!!
