Jets and Flyers to Meet in League Championship

The Jets Curtis Anderson scored 4 minutes and 11 seconds into to overtime to help his team get past the Titans in the Penetang and District Ball Hockey League semi-finals on Tuesday July 30th at the Penetanguishene arena.

Jack Scanlan scored two goals for the Jets while Carter Forget added a single marker.  For the Titans who scored two goals in the final two minutes to tie the game on shots from Ryan Bath and Ethan Wright they could not close the deal.  Tyler LeMesurier scored the other Titans goal.

In the second semi-final, Brody Coe score two goal, one into an empty net with three seconds remaining to lead the Flyers to a 3-1 win over the Ducks.  Nathan Schaap netted the game winner for the Flyers while Braedan Dorion replied with the only Ducks marker.

The Championship game is now set for Tuesday August 6th at 8:00 pm at the Penetanguishene arena with the Jets facing off against the Flyers for the league crown.
