Cardinals nip Orioles 3-2 to win U10 Novice 'A' Crown

Hank Badger scored all three goals as the Cardinals edged the Orioles 3-2 to capture an exciting U10-Novice 'A' Championship game on Monday July 26 at the Penetanguishene arena. Hudson Kent and Isaac Parent replied for the Orioles.

The Cardinals roster was made up of:  Hank Badger, River Benkovszki, Jaxxon Cadeau, Addison Caldwell, Brayden Caldwell, Quinn Cooper, Archer Dalziel, Brian MacKinlay-Stott, Chace Makela, Syrenity Makela, Apollo McCarthy, Brendan Melanson and Luke Tonello. The coaches were Chris and Greg Makela.

In the 'B' Final Talan McVeen scored a hat-trick to lead the Hawks to a narrow shoot-out win over the Eagles.  McVeen scored two regulation time goals along with the shoot-out winner.  Mason Bonnett score the other Hawks marker.  For the Eagles, Hunter Dusome netted a pair of goals and Easton Lee counted the other tally.

In the 'C' Championship game Gavin Graham scored four goals, Stirling Baxter and Jack Lahaie both tallied three goals as the Ravens got past the Blue Jays in a wild scoring affair by a 11-7 final.  Jett Bondar scored six times for the Blue Jays with Owen Gignac adding one marker.  Aaron Sloss counted the other Ravens goal.
