Stars win 13th in a Row to Capture U14 Girls Championship

Get past the Oilers by 3-1 score
Rebekah Leroux with two goals and a single marker from Taylor Gauthier helped pace the Stars to a 3-1 win over the Oilers in the Girls U14 Championship game on Sunday June 25 at the Penetanguishene arena. The win capped off a perfect season for the Stars who won 13 straight games. Leah Sibley repied with the only Oilers marker.
The Stars roster was made up of Cassandra Brawn, Gracelynn Carrol, Camie Charlebois, Taylor Gauthier, Eva Granlund, Haylo Leblanc, Rebekah Leroux, Ryla Merritt-Reid, Rylan Rossel, Emily Sauve and Kallee Seca. The team was coached by Kennedy Leroux, Emily King and Mya Crawford.
Marley Racine scored two goals to lead the Flames to a narrow 4-3 victory over the Senators in the Consolation game. Cailin Latour and Maeve Parent also scored one goal each for the Flames. The Senators got single goals from Samantha Czapla, Steevie Lewis and Sophia Mayer.
