Rebels Win 3-2 In OT

The Rebels Houston Robertson scored the winning goal on a solo rush from his own end of the rink in overtime to lift his team to a 3-2 win over the Wolves in the U14-PeeWee Championship game on Saturday June 24 at the Penetanguishene arena.

Cooper Thompson and Greyson Ward scored one goal each in regulation time for the Rebels.  For the Wolves Reid McIlravey and Alex Switzer both had single tallies.

The Rebels roster was made up of Lukas Bedard, Noah Belcourt, Nolan Gignac, Spencer Graham, Simon Hartley, Kolten Langley, Dylan Mann, Connor Melvin, Caleb Muldoon, Hayden Robertson, Houston Robertson, Cooper Thompson, Gregory Villeneuve and Greyson Ward.  The coaches were Dave Gignac and Ryan Robertson.

In the Consolation Final, the Predators led by Drake Bressette's three goals edged the Mustangs 7-6.  Lucas Sibley counted two Mustang goals while Josh Bartosiak and Evan Latour notched single goals.  For the Mustangs Cameron Gignac and Darcy Quesnelle each scored twice with Asher Frueh and Masyn Molenhuis added single markers.
