Pumas Win U8 Tyke A Crown

The Pumas captured the U8-Tyke A Championship with a narrow 4-3 win over the Todd Lalonde Desjardins Insurance Tigers on Saturday June 24 at the Penetanguishene Arena. Tanner Duval-Arancio scored twice for the Pumas while Grayson Parker and Spencer Morrison added single tallies.  Maelle Forget, Brendan Hayes and Annabella MacIssaac scored one goal each for the Tigers.

The Champions Pumas roster consisted of Elizabeth Badger, Maxwell Badger, Olive Benton, Landon Cornthwaite, Bennett Duivenvoorden, Elliot Dupuis-Cundy, Tanner Duval-Arancio, Liam Forget, Zaidyn Gignac, Monty Gouett, Daxton Hingley, Spencer Morrison, Liam Mundy, Grayson Parker, Miles Robinson and Max Stone.

In the Consolation Final the Lynx led by 6 goals from Joshua Boucher stopped the Lions by a 10-2 score.  Also scoring for the Lynx were Quinn Lahaie (2), Jaden Brunelle and Tatum O'Neill.  Bo Vermilyea replied with both goals for the Lions.
