Titans 2023 Champs

The Titans are the 2023 Penetang & District Men's Ball Hockey League Champions after squeezing out a 4-3 win over the Jets in overtime on Tuesday August 8 at the Penetanguishene arena.

Ryan Bath scored his second goal of the game at the 6:57 mark of the first overtime to give the Titans the victory.  Luke Charlebois and Nicolas Lancione score the other Titans goals.  For the Jets who forced overtime with two goals in the last three and a half minutes of regulation time, Brad Brown scored two goals and Liam St. Amant added a single marker.

Congratulations to the Titans whose roster consisted of Brady Barker, Ryan Bath, Brett Bressette, Luke Charlebois, Ben Desroches, Nicolas Francoeur, Nathan Kaus, Eli Lafond, Nicolas Lancione, Ethan Larmand, Owen LeClair, Luke Lesperance, Caiden Pattenden, Caleb Renault, Lucas Ross, Carter Weissflog and Carter Wilson.

In the Consolation Final Braeden Dorion scored at 7:36 of overtime to lift the Ducks past the Flyers by a 3-2 score.  The Ducks who trailed in the game 1-0 and 2-1 tied the score to send it to overtime with 1:41 remaining in regulation time when Dorion scored his first goal of the night.  Jeffery Quesnelle had the other goal for the Ducks.

Neil Rosie and David Marshall counted the two Flyers goals.
