Crusaders 2023 Bantam-Junior Champs

The Crusaders edged the Triple Tech Destroyers in the 2023 Bantam-Junior Championship game held Wednesday June 14th at the Penetanguishene Arena.

Ryder Cali scored the winner with just 56 seconds remaining in regulation time for the Crusaders who also had goals from Elliot deMunnik and Cole Tucker.  Carson Boyle and Josh Hutton scored the Destroyer goals in an exciting fast pace final.

In the Consolation game the Triple Tech Raiders squeezed out a 7-6 win over the regular season's first place Knights in a back and forth affair.

Nathan Ross scored a hat-trick to lead the Raiders attack with single goals from Reece Cordeiro, Aidan Gravel, Tyler LeMesurier and Lukas Waschenko rounding out the scoring for the Raiders.  Replying for the Knights were Owen Fuller and Trent Leonard with two goals each and Finn Bisschop and Brody Coe with one goal each.

The Crusaders championship roster was made up of Mason Bath, Kyle Beatty, Ryder Cali, Braydon Charlebois, Elliot deMunnik, Trent Dusome, Matt Eplett, Alex Etzinger, Owen Loughran, Marshall Perkins, Kyle Robillard, Nathan Schaap, Cole Tucker, Curtis Warren, Cole Warren and Charlie Wright.  The coaches were John Eplett and Adam Schaap.
