Cambridge Player Selected to Junior Team Canada

"This is a great and deserving honor," Cambridge Minor President, Andrew Hancock said, "he earned this opportunity through hard work and dedication. It's great to see our club and player be rewarded with this selection."

He is among the 20 players selected by General Manager Scott Jacobi for the World Championships.  ‘Cameron is a very good runner and athletic defenceman who shows he can read the play and join the rush or play a strong defensive game.’

The team will gather for practices and scrimmages in preparation of the World Championships in May.

The World Ball Hockey Federation Junior Championships will be streamed so games can be viewed live from Nitra and we wish the team well as they challenge for the gold medal.

Jacobi stated, ‘the Junior Team Canada staff were very busy in 2017 scouting various events including the Provincial Peewee, Bantam and Junior Championships, and the CanAm Junior Championship which has led to the selections of this team.’
