The Durham Women’s Ball Hockey League will open the season in September and will play host to a six team league open to the first 96 players.
SEASON - 12 games includes regular season including playoffs
UNIFORM - Each participant will receive a jersey
GAMES - Two 16 minute stop-time periods with qualified certified OBHA referees & league convener observing every game.
EQUIPMENT - CSA approved hockey helmet with full facial protection and approved hockey gloves, soccer-style shin guards, and hockey stick. Soft elbow pads, soft knee pads and athletic supporter are recommended.
INCLUDES - limited dental & medical insurance, end of season awards, official National Ball Hockey Association of Canada rule book, safe play & fair competition, eligibility for tournaments in North America and world-wide
