VAUGHAN WOMEN’S BALL HOCKEY LEAGUE IS BACK!

Linda Spina has returned as League President!
On behalf of the Vaughan Women’s Ball Hockey League and with the assistance of the Ontario Ball Hockey Association (OBHA) we are launching three programs at Vaughan Sportsplex II. We hope to get 6 teams for each division, Sunday evenings (B/C division), Monday evenings (Master’s Over 35) and Thursday evenings (Co-Ed).
We are offering two set ups, TEAM Registration (must contact league directly to reserve a spot and team rep MUST collect all registration forms) and INDIVIDUAL registration and league will allow up to 6 friends to play together. For Co-Ed, team must have a minimum of four women on the roster and two MUST be on the floor at all time.
THE LEAGUE
- 1 game a week in a full size arena
- 5 on 5 with two referees, convenor and time keeper
-All players MUST wear CSA approved helmet complete with full facial protection, hockey gloves and stick.
-the schedule and statistics will be posted weekly on website
-females MUST be 16 years of age to play
-Insurance program which includes general liability and medical/dental accident insurance (in case of accident)
