2015 Spring Registration Opens

Hello and hoping everyone had a wonderful holiday and wish everyone a safe Happy New Year and the best throughout 2015!

This is a magical time of the year during the holiday season and the sounds of hockey sticks banging the pavement on local streets.  It's time for another ball hockey season.  Again, we would like to take the opportunity to express our appreciation to you and your families for your continuous support and for many contributions you have made in establishing the program.

The 2014 Brampton Minor Ball Hockey League season was one of great success which contained many smiles and accomplishments by players in all divisions of our league. We had over 600 boys and girls register with the league that spanned from the Squirt to Junior Division aged players.  Our registration opens on January 2 with online registration and are also accepting registrations by mail or fax (see address and fax at the top of the registration form).

For the 2015 season it will consist of 11 games (9 regular season games + 2 playoff games) with all games played at the Century Gardens Community Centre and a few at other City of Brampton facilities and the majority of games will be Sundays as Easter is earlier in 2015 which will allow our program to begin in April.

The game times won’t be available until registration closes and will be forwarded ten days before the start on the season, but we will be starting the season in early/mid April and are still working on the anticipated schedule of dates.  Please note we will be beginning either on April 12 or April 19 and conclude with the Day of Champions on Sunday, June 28.

For 2015, the age of birth for each division will be:

Squirt – 2009, 2010 & 2011

Tyke – 2007 & 2008

Novice – 2005 & 2006

Atom – 2003 & 2004

Peewee – 2001 & 2002

Bantam – 1999 & 2000

Junior 1997 & 1998

Our program will continue to be setup in a house league format, with individual registration and we will permit for two friends to play together.  For players wishing to form a team and play up in age category, please have the coach contact me directly. 

Every participant will receive a jersey, shorts and socks which will conclude with our Champions Day the last week of June with the ‘Day of Champions’ and every player will receive a trophy/award.

REGISTER OPENED JANUARY 2

For the upcoming season, we will be offering Girls U12 (2003/04), U14 (2001/02), U16 (1999/2000) and U18 (1997/98) divisions which will be open to the first forty eight players and Juvenile (1994, 1995 & 1996) and that information will be forwarded by January 15 and registration form for the Girls and Juvenile divisions will be available via the league web site. 

The registration fee is $170.00 (early bird – January 2 to February 15) for all divisions except Squirt which is $120.00.   The online payments will be automatic to the day the process is completed.

For registration, these are the important dates:

A) EARLY BIRD - January 2 to February 15 - $170.00

B) REGULAR FEE - February 16 to March 31 - $185.00

Squirt division will be $120.00 throughout the registration process

Late Fee: After March 31 - $200.00

Three methods of payment:

1) Online (credit card only begins – January 2)
2) Mail (cheque) or in person (cheque or cash – do not mail cash)
3) In person registration as part of the City of Brampton registration at one of the registration dates below:

Friday, February 20, from 6 pm to 9 pm at Century Gardens

Saturday, February 21 from 9 am to 12 noon at Century Gardens

Friday, February 27 from 6 pm to 9 pm at Century Gardens

Saturday, February 28 from 9 am to 12 noon at Century Gardens

Friday, March 6 from 6 pm to 9 pm at Century Gardens

Saturday, March 7 from 9 am to 12 noon at Century Gardens
